Summary
The Department of Pediatrics – Critical Care located in Austin is seeking an Assistant Professor Non-Tenure Track to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable and proficient patient centered intensive care while role modeling ethical and professional behavior with every interaction. 60% of FTE is dedicated to the clinical responsibilities of direct patient care.
Partners with cardiac surgery, cardiology, and neonatology leaders optimize care delivery across all areas and levels of cardiac care.
Assure that the entire PICU/CICU team is aware of changes in hospital policies or practices that affect current clinical practice or workplace conditions.
Support and participate in educational series and patient care conferences.
Minimum Qualifications
Board certification in Pediatrics is required for this position. Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Critical Care and/or Pediatric Nephrology is also required.
