Senior Manager, Clinical Research Education and Training (Remote)

Reporting to the Vice President of Duarte Clinical Research Operations, this remote role leads the development of a comprehensive clinical research education and training program. The Senior Manager ensures compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory standards through robust onboarding, role-based training, and ongoing competency assessments. Key responsibilities include policy development, tracking quality metrics, and driving continuous improvement to support the clinical research infrastructure at COH.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive role-based onboarding and continuing education program for research professionals, utilizing virtual, online, and in-person training methods.
  • Establish a competency assessment program and maintain education tracking systems to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and HRPP teams to address systemic training gaps and enhance research compliance.
  • Lead the creation, revision, and education rollout of clinical research-related policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with COH’s standards and mission.
  • Serve as a resource for investigators, staff, and leadership on GCP, regulatory compliance, and clinical research policies, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Monitor training outcomes, leverage data to identify process improvement opportunities, and implement technology solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelors degree in health-related discipline, or other related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in clinical research setting
  • 2-3 years developing clinical research education programs
  • 2-3 years developing or coordinating suite of clinical research policies and procedures
  • 3 years management experience.
  • ACRP, SOCRA or other clinical research professional certification

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $76.80 - $128.26 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
