Summary

Serving as a member of the Baylor Medicine Comprehensive Healthcare Clinic concierge and executive programs team, this position is part of an interdisciplinary, advanced-primary care, exceptional service, and highest-quality team. Other members of the team include physicians, psychologists, and exercise physiologists. Patient/Member/Client needs will vary from lifestyle focused (i.e., meal planning, weight management, nutrition education) to complex therapeutic care (post-acute recovery, diabetes education).

This is a high-profile position that will interact with special Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) constituents such as major donors, trustees, international patients, corporate executives, elected officials, and concierge program members. As such, the candidate who will be the best fit must have a highly-professional appearance, customer-service focus, calm demeanor, and flexible attitude. An interest in science, research, and academia will allow him/her to collaborate on patient care innovation and program development with senior faculty and executive leadership.

Job Duties

In addition to the specific responsibilities listed in the position description:

  • Take part in regular patient experience focused training
  • Work daily with psychologists and exercise physiologists in the development of a holistic wellness program
  • Vet, endorse, and introduce novel products into the clinic (healthy foods, books, trackers)
  • Participate in scientific and educational opportunities (such as journal club, conferences, grand rounds) to identify and implement innovation prevention and care methodologies.
  • Develop nutrition program tracks and workshops.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field.
  • Five years of relevant experience.
  • Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the American Dietetic Association and a Licensed Dietitian by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree or in-progress.
  • Demonstrated experience/interest in research.
  • Ability to develop novel programs.
  • Understanding of the interplay between psychology and health behaviors.
