As a successful candidate, you will:
This position provides support in a MAC and Windowsbased environment including troubleshooting and resolving problems and providing first-line customer service. This position is responsible for the installation of new systems, and replacement of existing machines with the latest hardware and software platforms for Windows and MAC. This position also provides excellent customer service and support at each customer engagement. Must possess a can-do attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to build relationships with team members and customers at various levels.
- Provide first-line support with Windowsor MAC software/hardware problems, mobile device, telecommunications, or audiovisual issues, including training and technical assistance to end user as required.
- Primary support for Windows and MAC computers, perform Windows and MAC OS updates, WOWs and printer support. BCA Audit support, daily clinical rounding support.
- Provide support for telecommunication or audiovisual issues in various settings (Clinical, Research, General Business, Meetings)
- Assist in the delivery, implementation and installation of desktop computer, telecommunication and audiovisual equipment to appropriate onsite personnel.
- Provide operational support for post project system deployments.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal, time management and communication skills using tack and courtesy, with the ability to multi-task and handle deadlines and pressure situations.
- Other duties as assigned
Your qualifications should include:
- High School or equivalent
- Three (3) years desktop computer and PC hardware/software support including peripherals in a high volume setting.Ideally this includes experience with mobile devices and PDAs. General troubleshooting and experience with Local Area Networks required for all. Strong customer service is a must.
- Current California Drivers License and a good driving record for insurance purposes (where applicable).

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $28.63 - $44.38 / hour
The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
